21 Day Self-Care Challenge ~ Day 2
Start the day with warm water and lemon
Drink a large glass of warm water with a half of lemon squeezed in it first thing in the morning; every morning. The glass of lemon juice and water is less then 25 calories and it’s a rich source of nutrients. Some of the things lemon water help with are:
- Removes bacteria in the mouth
- Helps with weight loss
- The vitamin C in the lemon helps your skin glow
- Boosts your immune system
- Helps reduce aches and pains
- Cleanses the liver
- Strengthens the brain
- Improves digestion
- Slows down premature aging
- Improves blood circulation
As you can see there are many benefits to adding warm water and lemon to your daily regimen. Make sure you drink at least 7 – 10 more glasses of plain water or other liquids every day to increase hydration and weight loss.
Feel free to add on something your body “needs” from yesterday’s challenge. Each daily step builds on the next.
